MAC Clinical Research US Philadelphia

To continue to meet the research needs of our clients and their patients across the globe, MAC Clinical Research has arrived in the United States! Our new clinical study site will be located just outside of Philadelphia, PA, in a well-established suburban—yet commercially attractive—area.

Currently under development, our new space will offer full clinical study services and be able to conduct study visits for patients from a variety of therapeutic areas. MAC will supplement our clinical services with an array of CRO services to continue to provide our clients with choices. We anticipate that the site will be ready to receive patients later in 2022. The site, easily accessed via major highways and public transportation (bus/train), is located near a multitude of medical and pharmaceutical resources, including globally and nationally recognised hospitals such as:

With a population of 3,608,144 people living in South-eastern Pennsylvania, recruitment for study participants should be fairly easily achieved. MAC will continue our focus on research for treatment of neurologic disorders, but will also conduct studies according to the highest disease states/incidence in this area of the US, including:

  • Cardiovascular
  • Diabetes/Metabolic
  • Influenza/Pneumonia
  • Nephrology
  • Neurology
    • Alzheimer’s Disease/Dementia
    • Psychiatry
    • Psychedelic drugs (as approved by US government)
  • Oncology
  • Respiratory
  • Septicaemia/Sepsis

The US site and CRO functions will be managed by Jessica Baskin Taylor, M.Ed., Director of Operations for MAC North America. A 3rd-generation native and life-long resident of Philadelphia, Ms. Taylor has experience with opening offices in the US for other UK-based companies, and has spent the last six of her 20+ years as a proposal manager producing business proposals for all aspects of clinical study management at a large, US-based, global CRO.
