The Association of Clinical Research Professionals Philadelphia Chapter’s 2023 Inaugural Meeting
Jessica Baskin Taylor, MAC’s Director of Operations for North America, has been instrumental in the local team that is reviving and invigorating Philadelphia’s chapter of the national Association for Clinical Research Professionals (ACRP).
The group recently met to socialize, become (re-)acquainted, and hear a presentation on “Partnering with Vendors for Clinical Trial Success,” presented by Jessica and Sandra Hines, from Madrigal Pharmaceuticals. The presentation was more of a focused group discussion, with almost everyone contributing comments/ideas. Main ideas included:
Define success before getting started
Communicate clearly and regularly
Keep focus on the end-goal
Measure change, make corrections, measure change again, etc.
Collaboration and open communication between partners is critical for success
The meeting, graciously held at Greenphire’s beautiful office in King of Prussia, PA, was led by Philadelphia chapter president Chris Gantz (Takeda Pharmaceuticals), and attendees represented a wide array of pharmaceutical-related organizations, including: Actalent, Unicon, Takeda, Greenphire, MAC Clinical Research, Medix, Piper Companies, Slope Clinical, Jumo Health, ICON, Rocket Pharma, Penn Medicine, and more.
